Rich black versus Regular black, so the main difference is the deepness of the black and how much color is in it. Regular black only uses the k of cmyk, which is just black ink. While Rich black uses all colors from cmyk, (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) resulting in a much darker and deeper black color. And here is the way to use/ check for it Settings when designing for print, window> attriibutes> overprint fill, (check box option), VIew> over print preview (Toggle between off and on)
